HI,

I am interested in the heater supply modules. I gather from reading that they are primarily designed for DHT use. My power amp has two 6SL7 driver tubes and 2x2 parallel SE 6L6GT output tubes, all heaters are indirect and are currently AC.

I run 105 dB sensitive front loaded horn loudspeakers and am interested in lowering the background noise from the amp.

Do you think the modules would be suitable to put these tubes on DC? The driver tubes draw 0.3A each and the 6L6 draw 0.6A each, all at 6.3V.

Thanks,

Ken

Yes, suitable. We use them for the Basie-Gomes linestage and works very well. Lower noise and better sound than typical LM317 or bridged diode implementations.
